Bidwells have an exciting newly created opportunity for a passionate, self‑motivated Service Delivery and Contracts Lead/Associate to join our Rural Estate Management and Professional department in Scotland. The successful candidate will play an essential role working closely with a key, high‑profile client that we have a strong, long‑standing relationship with, working across their interesting and significant rural portfolio of over 87,000 acres across four estates.

This Service Delivery and Contracts Lead/Associate is a critical role responsible for the delivery and management of services by the team for the client ensuring that contract expectations and compliance are met; overseeing the team and working closely with the Head of department. The successful applicant will proactively support the delivery of services to the client. This role can be based in either our Perth or Inverness office, with agile working options.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivery Management: Co‑ordinate and lead on the delivery and management of the contract, with support from senior leadership. Track and monitor workflow across the delivery team and adherence to KPI’s and updating the client.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop a good and close working relationship with the client’s team. Attend and report at management meetings with the client. Lead on the management of the day‑to‑day delivery of projects, helping ensure the client’s expectations are met within agreed timescales. Identify opportunities for additional work.
  • Technical: Lead the team to help deliver rural estate management services including but not limited to let farms, sporting leases, community and stakeholder liaison, managing staff, let residential properties, and diversification projects. Build and maintain relationships with tenants, communities, estate employees and other stakeholders. Co‑ordinate the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of budgets and other financial records with colleagues. Monitor and submit client reporting.

About you

  • Ideally have some experience of managing a rural estate/portfolio.
  • Must have experience of managing a team.
  • An understanding of the rural economy.
  • Professional and personable client care skills.
  • Experience in professional services or similar consultancy would be beneficial.
