Our successful and rapidly growing Project Management team in London are continuing to work with major clients on new and interesting projects, and we have created an exciting new role for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder projects within a client representative environment. This Assistant Project Manager role provides direct exposure to complex, high-profile projects, including international masterplanning and urban strategy, with hands-on involvement in delivery and a clear progression pathway.
Supporting a Partner and Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining project controls, coordinating information, and ensuring accurate tracking of actions, risks, and deliverables across the project.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the coordination of and collate information from consultants, sub-contractors and project teams.
- Clear, consistent and accurate reporting. Support preparation of weekly and monthly reporting.
- Tracking project and programme deliverables, progress and updates.
- Assist in monitoring milestones and deadlines, and flagging delays.
- Update decision log and risk register.
- Support invoice tracking and basic cashflow records.
- Attend meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes, tracking and following up on actions.
- Maintain organised records of project communications and documents.
About you:
- Some previous project or programme management experience.
- Background in construction, real estate, engineering, or similar.
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) or working towards a relevant qualification.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Clear communication skills.
- Basic awareness of construction contracts would be beneficial but not essential.
- Arabic language skills may be useful but not essential.
