Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance?

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our busy Finance team as an Apprentice Revenue Controller.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional business environment while working towards a recognised Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.

Working alongside experienced members of our Revenue Team, you'll learn how financial information is managed across the business, supporting key processes such as job set-up, billing, timesheets and revenue management. You'll develop valuable skills in finance administration, data management and stakeholder communication, building a strong foundation for a long-term career in finance.

What you’ll be doing

As an Apprentice Revenue Controller, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance and business administration activities, including:

  • Supporting the set-up and maintenance of project and client information within our finance systems.
  • Assisting with billing processes, including preparing invoices and checking financial information for accuracy.
  • Monitoring timesheets and supporting colleagues to ensure information is recorded correctly and on time.
  • Helping maintain accurate financial records and supporting the production of reports.
  • Managing queries received by the Revenue Team and providing administrative support to colleagues across the business.
  • Building relationships with teams throughout Bidwells and learning how finance supports the wider organisation.
  • Assisting with wider finance projects and process improvements as your skills and confidence develop.

About You

  • A minimum of B, B, C at A-Level (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Confidence working with numbers, data and IT systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and a desire to develop new skills.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • An interest in finance, business administration or accounting as a long-term career.
