Our Project Management team partners with clients to deliver complex development and construction projects from concept through to completion, providing strategic advice, commercial expertise and exceptional service every step of the way. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our expanding London team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role on high-profile capital projects across a diverse range of sectors, while helping to develop client relationships and supporting the growth of our project management offering.

What you'll do

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex projects while acting as a trusted adviser to clients and mentoring more junior members of the team.
  • Lead the delivery of multiple construction and development projects from inception to completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and providing strategic project advice.
  • Develop project briefs, programmes, execution plans and delivery strategies.
  • Manage project governance, risk, budgets, procurement and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead consultant appointments, tender processes and contractor management.
  • Administer contracts and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to add value and improve project outcomes.
  • Support business development activities, networking and contributing to winning new work.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers, sharing knowledge and encouraging professional development.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice, legislation and project management standards.

About you

We're looking for an experienced project management professional with a strong consultancy background and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience delivering complex construction and capital projects within a professional consultancy environment.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills, including fee forecasting and project reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the confidence to make informed decisions.
  • A RICS-accredited degree in Project Management, Building Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • MRICS or another relevant chartered professional qualification (preferred).
  • NEC Project Manager accreditation or NEC contract experience would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites where required.
