Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for your next career move? Bidwells' Investment and Property Management team are looking for an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our supportive, forward-thinking team in Oxford.

Our successful hire will help deliver exceptional standards across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, working with prestigious clients including colleges, institutions and family trusts. This is a varied, hands-on role with real ownership of the day-to-day performance, compliance and smooth running of multiple commercial properties.

We go beyond simply managing buildings, helping clients get the very best from their property investments through strong expertise and a proactive, service-led approach.

What makes this role exciting?

You'll have variety, autonomy and plenty of opportunity to make a difference. No two days are the same as you work across properties, contractors, clients and internal teams to keep everything running safely and to a high standard. You'll spot issues before they become problems, build great relationships with occupiers and suppliers, and keep our buildings compliant, well maintained and performing as they should. The role is primarily based across Oxford, with regular travel to other sites in the region, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

What you'll do

  • Manage the portfolio
  • Carry out regular property and facilities inspections, identifying issues and driving timely resolutions.
  • Deliver a high-quality, proactive service to occupiers across multiple properties.
  • Oversee service charge budgets, reconciliations and associated financial processes.
  • Manage contractors and utility providers in line with procurement requirements.
  • Raise purchase orders and oversee invoices in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor and review Health & Safety activity through RiskWise.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and high standards across all sites.
  • Work with contractors and stakeholders to identify and manage risk.
  • Use facilities management systems, including Elogbooks, to manage contractors, maintenance and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records across facilities, compliance and financial activities.
  • Provide clear reporting and updates to colleagues and clients.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients, occupiers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Act as a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and issues.
  • Support the Associate and wider team in delivering an exceptional service.

About you

We're looking for someone proactive, organised and confident managing multiple properties and stakeholders. You'll enjoy being hands-on, solving problems and taking ownership, and be comfortable working with clients and contractors.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in facilities management across multiple sites.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Elogbooks and RiskWise is advantageous.
  • Commercial property management experience is beneficial.
  • Service charge budget and contractor procurement experience is an advantage.
