A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for an Account Support Relief Officer, who will work at our client’s prestigious premises. This role is pivotal to the success of the building operation as this person will act as the front of house for the management team. The successful applicant will have experience of working in a reception environment and be well practiced in dealing with clients both over the telephone and in face-to-face situations. We require officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision.

Duties of an Account Support Relief Officer - Security:

  • To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for.
  • Hi-Visibility foot patrols are conducted around the assignment.
  • To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
  • To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible.
  • To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date.
  • To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
  • To conduct yourself, always, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed.
  • Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required.
  • To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts.

Job role requirements of a Concierge Security Officer:

  • A valid SIA and CCTV First Aid certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI’s).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer/Client focused.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy required.
