Job Title: Control Room Operator
Provide centralized control room oversight, coordination, support to Bidvest Noonan sites, teams, and customers.
Responsibilities include incident management, reporting, and response coordination, as well as oversight and provision of intelligence, incident, and event notification alerts.
Conduct research tasks to support the formulation and delivery of briefings, intelligence packs, and other content.
Operate and monitor CCTV, access control, building management, and other systems to support remote access services, including:
- Monitoring and responding to intrusion alarms and other alerts.
- Managing key holding alarms and responses.
- Dispatching and coordinating mobile staff as needed.
Maintain the 24/7 contact centre service, acting as the primary incident response control node and supporting business continuity services.
Ensure operation and maintenance of information systems, documentation, and logs.
Model standards in safety, people, customer service, simplicity, and growth.
Support the expansion of the Security Operations Centre (SOC), contributing to its development as a centre of excellence.
Participate in training and professional development activities.
Perform any other duties within the scope of SOC responsibilities and the wider Security Risk & Intelligence Unit.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in operational control room or similar environment.
- Experience in emergency response, CCTV control, or coordination centers.
- Valid front-line SIA CCTV Licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with information and communication systems.
- Awareness of scheduling systems like Timegate.
- Experience in intelligence research, handling, and development.
