A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Retail Security Officer, who will work at our clientβs prestigious site. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users. We require Officers to be SIA licenced β Security Guarding/Door Supervision.
DUTIES AS A RETAIL SECURITY OFFICER
- Act as a visual deterrent in store
- Liaising with Police and other emergency services
- Report / incident writing
- Conducting internal and external patrols
- The officer must ensure all training from the client and Bidvest Noonan are completed and adhered to while on duty
- Frequently liaising with store management on a weekly/daily basis to discuss store inventory results, high loss products and findings during patrols in order to reduce loss via theft in store
- Meeting and greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
- To be able to de-escalate situations
- Reporting all incidents via the client specific link and also to the Bidvest Noonan Control room
JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS AS A RETAIL SECURITY OFFICER
- A valid SIA licence
- Strong Communication Skills
- Smart Appearance and in company uniform at all times
- Ability to work on your own initiative in a productive manner
- Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner
- Engaging with customers in a professional manner, always happy to help and ensure delivery of very high customer service
- Being a visual deterrent and having a strong presence in the store
- Completing all necessary paperwork on daily basis
- Liaising with store management and advising on findings of patrol and other criminal activities in a timely and professional manner
