About The Role:
Female Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Female Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention, who will work at our client’s prestigious Ladies Wear store. The reason for this female only role is due to carrying out security duties in female fitting room areas. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.
Duties as a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention:
- To protect our client’s premises from criminal activity
- Be focused and alert, being able to identify potential risks and take action to mitigate any threat
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse
- Comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment
- Complete and maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB)
Job role requirements as a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention:
- Be smart and well presented at all times
- Have a valid frontline SIA Licence. Also preferably a PSS CCTV License as well, although for the right and successful candidate this can be gained once in post.
- Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Have previous experience in the security industry
- Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
- Have a full 5 - year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted
