This role is primarily London-based with a hybrid working model. There is flexibility to work from other locations on an ad hoc basis; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to London regularly, along with occasional travel to other sites as required.
We are seeking a commercially astute and analytical Commercial Analyst to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role within the business, focused on developing and optimising cost models that underpin our sales strategy.
Working closely with our Business Development team and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure our pricing is competitive, robust, and aligned with client requirements. Key Responsibilities- Partner with the sales team to develop tailored cost models aligned to client requirements and project scopes
- Build and maintain detailed cost models covering labour, materials, overheads, and other direct and indirect costs
- Ensure pricing strategies are accurate, competitive, and reflective of proposed solutions
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to validate assumptions and strengthen proposals
- Support the creation of business cases and financial submissions for new and existing clients
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and other teams to gather data and insights
- Translate client needs into commercially viable and compelling solutions
- Identify opportunities to enhance cost modelling tools, processes, and efficiency
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness
We’re looking for a commercially driven individual who combines strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills and industry awareness.
Essential Requirements- Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in financial analysis, pricing, cost modelling, or related roles
- Strong finance background with demonstrable experience in building and optimising pricing models
- Advanced Excel skills (this will be assessed during the interview process)
- Ability to think strategically and align pricing models with broader business objectives
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within the Facilities Management (FM) industry
