Security Controller
Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newry
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a CCTV Controller/Security Guard who will work at Buttercrane Shopping centre, Newry.
This role will be working in a Control Room environment and Floor.
We require Officers to be SIA Licenced – Door Supervision and CCTV Licence.
Duties as a CCTV Controller
- Ensure the site is secure & protected from Flood, Damage, Fire & Theft at all times
- Internal & external patrols of all centre areas including the car parks
- Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur, any patrols that have taken place & any specific checks that have been made
- Cover lock/unlock duties
- Ensure relevant checks are carried out on all security plane & equipment used for personal use & report any defects if required
- Comply with all data protection regulations regarding all information accessed during the course of duty
- Ensure all keys are held & used in accordance with all security procedures
- Liaise with the team in relation to any car park issues/faults
- Complete daily security checks
- Liaise where necessary with the local police & fire services to enhance the Security image of the centre
- Switch on/off power supplies as required in and around the centre
- To ensure that all aspects such as evacuations, security alerts & public disorder are attended to in accordance with training received
- To carry out any other security controller related tasks as required by the Security Manager
Job role requirements as a Security Controller
- A valid CCTV license is essential as well as SIA Door Supervision/Security Guarding
- Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
- Clear communication & administration skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- To have a flexible approach to shift patterns, operational procedures & staff cover requirements
