As our Account Director, you'll play an integral part of the team focusing being the operational lead on a large contract.

You'll work closely with our onsite team and directly with Area Managers, Site Manager and Site Supervisors.

You'll look for ways we can constantly drive our standards higher via our services, cleaning, windowing and Hygiene Services.

Alongside having commercial responsibility for the retention of the contract, organic growth of business whilst reporting on and providing an accurate account on the P&L on a monthly basis.

Whilst prioritising retention and building upon existing relationships to expand business further and be responsible for compliance and safety of the contract and related colleagues and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliverable SLA’s and KPIs are key to driving the contract and ensuring a quality service is provided at all times.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the contract services at our clients contracts as detailed and agreed within the scope of contract between our Client and Bidvest Noonan.
  • Will be responsible for the development and implementation of all employee resources, processes, and procedures to ensure they are aligned with the details of the agreed contract with the Client.
  • Responsible for the standards of service delivery in line with the SLA as agreed with the client whilst providing across client sites by advising on SLAs, KPIs, objectives and projects.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important customers / build long term mutually beneficial partnerships with Key Customers
  • Escalation of any issues arising on the contract to the Key Accounts director
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly reviews pack.
  • Lead and drive the Commercial performance for all accounts within the contract, ensuring invoices are issued and paid on time and resolving any queries the client may bring.
  • Ensure all necessary Industry and Client processes and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Be responsible for the Profit and Loss balance sheet for all aspects of the contract.

All additional income, expenditure and unaccounted costs are to be controlled and reported on a monthly basis.

  • Preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly client review presentations.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of other stakeholders, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Drive innovative and scalable service solutions.
  • Interrogate management information systems which provide information to enable sound commercial judgement for decision making.
  • Provide support to the Key Accounts Director by advising on relationship issues and focuses needed from the team.
  • Identify issues or risks that will impact the contracts.
  • Action any changes or restructures required in line with legislation and Company procedures, ensure commercial accountants are fully aware of any monetary changes.
  • Ensure all contracts and sites comply with all policies and procedures contained in the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures (IMS) and promote and make consistent use of the guidelines, processes, checklists, and forms contained within it.
  • Ensure all site files are compliant. Drive action plans and resolutions arising from SHEQ team audits, closing out any PIP's in a timely manner supporting Direct reports
  • Lead culture of Company CREDO and reward and recognition through the managing and development of processes to ensure employee retention and encourage appropriate attitudes and behaviours.

Qualifications and Experience required

• Do you hold a valid driver’s license?

  • Do you have a Level 5 Management certificate or equivalent (or willing to work towards)?
  • Do you have advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook?

• Are you able to work flexibly in line with customer requirements?

  • Are you able to attend sites per all shift types on ad hoc basis to engage with ‘out of hours’ colleagues?
