As our Key Account Manager, you'll play an integral part of the team focusing on being the operational lead on a number of sites. You will manage a team of various Site Managers/Supervisors and related colleagues, providing a quality service to all assignments falling within the contract while controlling the related costs.

You will have joint commercial responsibility for the retention of contracts and growth of business. You will report on and provide an accurate account of the P&L on a monthly basis.

  • Responsible for Quality and Safety audits, compliance, and driving year-on-year improvements.
  • Aim for a score of 9 on the quarterly Net Promoter Scores.
  • Achieve defined strategic customer objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for the delivery of contract services at our client’s contracts as detailed and agreed within the scope of the contract.
  • Develop and implement all employee resources, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with the Assignment Instructions agreed with the Client.
  • Ensure standards of service delivery in line with the SLA as agreed with the client.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers and build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships with Key Customers.
  • Escalate any issues arising on the contract to the Operations Director.
  • Lead and drive the Commercial performance for all accounts within the contract, ensuring invoices are issued and paid on time and resolving any queries the client may bring.
  • Be responsible for the Profit and Loss balance sheet for all aspects of the contract.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of other stakeholders, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Drive innovative and scalable service solutions.
  • Interrogate management information systems to enable sound commercial judgement for decision making.
  • Provide support to the Operations Director by advising on relationship issues and focuses needed from the team.
  • Identify issues or risks that will impact the contracts.
  • Action any changes or restructures required in line with legislation and Company procedures.
  • Ensure all contracts and sites comply with all policies and procedures contained in the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures (IMS).
  • Drive action plans and resolutions arising from SHEQ team audits, closing out any PIPs in a timely manner supporting Direct reports.

Hold a Level 5 Management certificate or equivalent (or willing to work towards). Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Able to work on client premises 5 days a week and attend sites per all shift types on an ad hoc basis to engage with ‘out of hours’ colleagues.
