About The Role
Security Officer
Location: Edinburgh - EH12
Pay: £15.41 per hour
Working days, nights & weekends
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Security Officers, who will work at our client's premises in Edinburgh EH12.
Shift A – 5 on 15:00 to 23:00
Shift B – 5 on 23:00 - 07:00 Including weekends
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our client and our client's tenants.
We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Door Supervision – Security Guarding for the correct candidate would be accepted with upskill to DS and CCTV being provided.
The Security Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.
Duties as a Security Officer:
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management.
- Smart, well-groomed and confident.
- Conflict Management aware.
- High level of customer care awareness.
- Telephone skills.
- SIA Door Supervisor – Upskill provided for the correct candidate.
- SIA CCTV licence – Upskill provided for the correct candidate.
- Familiar with patrolling and monitoring.
- Confident in complying with Health & Safety and fire prevention procedures.
Job role requirements as a Security Officer:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred.
- Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer/Client focused.
- Proven experience in Corporate Security or relevant role (a minimum of 12 months).
- Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner.
