The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are seeking exceptional individuals with premium environment and/or hospitality experience, and that our comprehensive benefits package reflects the specific calibre of candidates we aim to attract.

To maintain the security and life safety of the Clients staff, tenants, assets, and reputation.

Also, under the direction of the Duty Security Manager (DSM), ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:

  • Cross training of other duties to cover support
  • Ensure the successful delivery of all Loading Bay Operations and requirements are fulfilled, in line with site procedures
  • Responding to emergency situations/incidents in line with Client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalation protocols
  • Ensure the service level expected by the Client is maintained.
  • Ensure immediate and effective response to any/all situations, to mitigate risk and impact to the Client.
  • Actively participate in training to ensure continual development and uphold service excellence.
  • Act as an ambassador to both JLL and Bidvest Noonan by always delivering a first class and professional service.
  • Act as a deterrent tounauthorised access into Client premises, by politely challenging visitors andpersonnel who do not have valid access to the building.

  • Maintainfull understanding of all Security and Loading Bay SOPs.
  • Atall times ensure the Loading Bay and area under your care is well presented, clean and tidy. Any faults are to bereported immediately, in line with Site SOPs
  • Ensure escalation and reporting of any/all security breaches, in line with agreed process
  • Maintainfully accurate logs, in adherence to housekeeping and securing all data inaccordance with GDPR protocols.
  • Ensure Loading Bay Officer handovers are completed, in line with expected standards.
  • Actively participate in all Security and Loading Bay (i. e. Banksman) related training
  • Assist in training of Security Officers to ensure the consistent provision of operationally competentpersons on site.
  • Ensure correct process andmanagement of all deliveries and access to site, via the Loading Bay. In accordance with site systems and procedures.
  • Ensure correct implementation of new or amended SOPs, under the direction of the Head of Security or Client.
  • Adhere to the Equal Opportunities/Health and Safety policies on behalf of Bidvest Noonan and the Client
  • Liaison with local lawenforcement and other external stakeholders when required.
  • Ensure you are immaculately presented in full uniform, compliant with expected standards.

  • Deal with all Clients, contractors, and visitors in a professional, effective and customer engaging manner.
  • Ensure you maintain clear, concise radio and telephone communications always.
  • Ensure you respond to medical incidents, when required, and provide first aid if necessary.

The above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and the Loading Bay Officer will be expected to carry out any other reasonable requests from the DSM, Head of Security or the Client.

Skills & Experience required.

• Do you have a valid SIA Licence?

• Do you have a proven experience in a similar role?

• Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills?

  • Are you able to work under pressure, being able make decisive assessments during incidents and difficult situations?

• Do you have basic computer literacy?

  • Do you have excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
  • All staff have now been aligned to 25 days holiday and 1 additional holiday for their birthday (26 in total) + BH
  • All staff have been provided with 2 x annual salary life assurance
  • We have allocated provision for staff Healthcare based on an annual cost of £500pp
