A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Retail Security Officer, who will work at our client's well-known site. This position will report directly into the Regional Manager. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users. Please note, we require Officers to be SIA licenced.
Key Responsibilities of the Security Officer:
- Act as a visual deterrent in store
- Liaising with Police and other emergency services
- Report / incident writing
- Conducting internal and external patrols
- The officer must ensure all training from the client and Bidvest Noonan are completed and adhered to while on duty
- Frequently liaising with store management on a weekly / daily basis to discuss store inventory results, high loss products and findings during patrols in order to reduce loss via theft in store
- Meeting and greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
- To be able to de-escalate situations
- Reporting all incidents via the client specific link and also to the Bidvest Noonan Control room
Key Requirements of the Security Officer:
- A valid SIA licence essential
- Strong Communication Skills
- Smart Appearance and in company uniform at all times
- Ability to work on your own initiative in a productive manner
- Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner
- Completing all necessary paperwork on daily basis
- Liaising with store management and advice on findings of patrol and other criminally activities in a timely and professional manner
