A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Corporate Security Officers, who will work at our client's prestigious premises. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users. We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision. The Security Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 15:00
Pay rate: £14.02 per hour
Responsibilities as a Corporate Security Officer:
- Report security or safety issues to the site Manager
- Carry out ID checks
- Testing of emergency systems; panic alarms, lift alarms, disabled toilet alarms
- On-site security patrolling and other secondary security duties
- Ensure you have read and understood the site's Risk Assessments
- Immediately report any site defects, health and safety concerns or security risks to line management and client
- Carry out daily checks of the following: passes / keys / search registers and to conduct an audit as per instructions
- Further investigation with regards to security issues
- Responding to emergency situations
- Welcoming Guests and providing a positive guest experience
- Protection of Company premises, assets and personnel
Requirements as a Corporate Security Officer:
- 5-year checkable work/career history
- Some computer experience, ability to write clear daily written reports
- Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position
- Able to report to emergency services and control room when required
- Customer facing Security Officer experience essential
- Hold a Frontline SIA Licence – Security Guard or Door Supervisor
- First Aid Licence; preferred
