Finance Analyst
We are looking for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role will provide financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting support to help drive business performance and informed decision-making.
Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, you will deliver insights that support profitability, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including management accounts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Develop financial models and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyse operating costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
- Support process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Key Requirements of the Finance Analyst
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
- Experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or a similar role.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Experience within Facilities Management, outsourcing, or a related sector.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of contract-based or multi-site business environments.
