Bus Fuelling and Cleaning Operative
- Fuelling buses in line with the required procedures
- Cleaning bus interiors to a high standard, including sweeping and removing rubbish and debris from floors, seats, luggage racks and cab areas
- Completing scheduled deep cleans of buses, including removing seat pads and vacuuming underneath
- Checking buses for lost property and reporting any items found
- Wiping down armrests, windowsills, trays, overhead luggage racks, footrests and other touch points
- Cleaning windows using the appropriate cleaning products and equipment
- Vacuuming carpets and seats where required
- Securing seat belts and mopping vinyl flooring
- Reporting defects and completing cleaning and fuelling checklists accurately
- Following all company health and safety procedures and working practices
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team - Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
- Cleaning experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but is not essential
- A good understanding of written and spoken English
