Corporate Security Officer to join our team at our client’s prestigious corporate premises in

Piccadilly Circus .

This role is pivotal to the success of the security operation, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of the building while delivering a first-class customer experience.

The successful candidate will act as a professional ambassador for both Bidvest Noonan and our client, maintaining a visible security presence and supporting the protection of people, property, assets, and reputation.

The successful applicant will have experience working within a corporate security environment and will be confident engaging with clients, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders in both face-to-face and telephone interactions.

We require officers to hold a valid SIA licence.

Duties of a Corporate Security Officer

  • Deliver a professional and highly visible security presence throughout the building.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised personnel, visitors, and contractors gain entry.
  • Conduct internal and external security patrols to protect people, property, and assets.
  • Manage visitor management systems, ensuring all guests are correctly registered, badged, and escorted where required.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activities in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of hostile reconnaissance, terrorism-related threats, and emerging security risks, reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Support the management of protests, demonstrations, and public order situations, ensuring the safety of all persons while minimising disruption to business operations.
  • Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other electronic security platforms.
  • Carry out investigations, complete incident reports, and maintain accurate records of all security-related activity.
  • Liaise closely with building management, emergency services, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure effective security operations.
  • Provide support during emergency evacuations, business continuity incidents, and crisis management situations.
  • Enforce site policies, procedures, and assignment instructions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to a proactive security culture by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security improvements.
  • Adapt to changes in client requirements, procedures, and operational environments while maintaining service excellence.
  • Job Role Requirements
  • A valid Frontline SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
  • Valid First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid qualification.
  • Previous experience within a corporate security, commercial security, or high-profile security environment.
  • Strong understanding of access control, incident management, and security procedures.
  • Knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AIs), security operations, and site-specific protocols.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including report writing.
  • Experience operating CCTV, access control systems, and security technology.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during incidents and emergencies.
  • Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify and assess potential security threats.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and security management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider security team.
  • Physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Rotating shift pattern: 7-3, 7-4; working Days & Nights.

07:00hrs - 19:00hrs, 19:00hrs - 07:00hrs.
