An exciting opportunity to work alongside one of our most prestigious clients has arisen. Bidvest Noonan are seeking to hire a Security Officer to work in the Ulster University Coleraine Campus. This role would suit someone who is committed to providing impeccable customer service, organised, energetic and someone who always goes above and beyond within their role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security to our client’s premises ensuring full protection to the site along with other security elements.

Location of work: Ulster University Coleraine Campus

Hours of Work: Full time – 42 hours per week, fully flexible days & nights, full time position supporting annual leave and sickness absence, 12 hours shifts, day shift & night shift, holiday & absence cover required.

Responsibilities:

  • Reinforce our vision to always be our clients “partner of choice”.
  • Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel.
  • Proactively operate CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required.
  • Advise Line Management of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern.
  • Comply with SIA, Company and client operating procedures, working practices and protocols.
  • Actively contribute towards the achievement of our strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.
  • Provide a professional service and ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • First Aid response.

Criteria:

  • SIA Door Supervisor/Manned Guarding License (required).
  • CCTV License (required with 3 months).
  • Valid UK Driving License (required).
  • First Aid (preferred).
  • IT Skills (preferred).
