Optalis, the adult social care delivery partner for Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council, is recruiting support workers for its Support Living services around Maidenhead. The work supports adults with learning disabilities and neurodiversity, with day support and sleep‑ins across eleven locations, in permanent and fixed‑term roles of up to 37 hours. Each location has its own timings and needs. Some posts require a valid UK driving licence, and no prior experience is needed because training is provided.
What the job involves
- Provide care and assistance to adults with learning disabilities and neurodiversity
- Support people with day services and, at some locations, sleep‑in cover
- Transport people in Optalis vehicles in roles marked (D)
