The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Representative to support our growing sales team. This is an entry to mid-level role focused on generating new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and building early-stage relationships. You’ll play a key role in developing our pipeline by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and introducing how BidScript can support their bidding and proposal processes.
Qualifications
- Identify and research potential clients across target sectors
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Engage prospective customers to understand their challenges and needs
- Book meetings and demos for senior sales team members
- Maintain accurate records of activity in CRM systems
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine outreach strategies
- Build a strong understanding of BidScript’s platform and value proposition
Requirements
- Experience in sales, customer-facing, or commercial roles (e.g. retail, recruitment, SDR/BDR, account support)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident engaging with new people and building rapport

- Interest in business development and SaaS/technology sales
