About Us
We are a well-established Tier 2 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and residential sectors. With a growing pipeline of work across London and the South East, we are looking to strengthen our pre-construction team with an experienced Estimator.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the tendering process, working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from £5m to £30m.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings
- Work collaboratively with the commercial and delivery teams
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as an Estimator with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, Excel)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
