I am currently working with a forward-thinking consultancy who are seeking a bid writer or senior bid writer to join their growing team. This role would suit a bid writer with 18 months+ experience who has a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the bidding lifecycle, and a commitment to producing compelling, client-focused content. This role can be office based (Warrington), hybrid or remote. The salary is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. My client is open to any sector background; however, previous experience in professional services or compliance would be a bonus. A relevant degree is essential – English, Creative Writing, Journalism etc.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Creating persuasive, client-focused content for complex bids and proposals.
- Collaborating with bid managers and subject matter experts to develop winning strategies.
- Conducting research and gathering evidence to support proposal content.
- Editing, proofreading, and ensuring the overall quality of submissions.
- Coaching and mentoring junior bid team members.
- Assisting bid/no-bid decisions and strategy meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with ITT requirements and deadlines.
- Translating complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
