A property and construction consultancy is seeking a Social Value Manager to lead the development, coordination and reporting of social value across bids and live projects. This consultancy-focused role is heavily weighted toward work-winning activity, with responsibility for producing high-quality, compliant and competitive bid responses, translating client requirements into clear, measurable commitments and aligning these with wider ESG and policy objectives.

Working closely with bid teams, project leads and senior stakeholders, you will ensure social value commitments are proportionate, deliverable and tracked effectively through to delivery, including monitoring performance and reporting progress to clients and leadership.

The role also involves supporting project teams with implementation, maintaining systems, case studies and partnerships, and continuously improving the organisation’s social value approach in line with emerging policy and best practice.

This position requires strong knowledge of UK social value frameworks (including the Social Value Act and PPN 06/20), proven bid-writing experience, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while influencing stakeholders across a dynamic consultancy environment.
