Business Director – Multi Sector – Bid, Business Development & Marketing at Bidrecruitment
I am currently working with an established bid consultancy who are seeking a bid writer or senior bid writer to join their team following an internal move. This role would suit someone with 2+ years bid writing experience or 4+ years for the senior writer role. My client is open to any sector background however previous consultancy or built environment experience would be beneficial.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days in their office just outside of Sheffield. Occasional travel to client sites may be required. The salary banding is £30,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and seniority level. The package includes 25 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare, life cover and a bonus scheme.

Duties and responsibilities
- Develop responses for pre-qualification questionnaires and invitation to tenders
- Attend or lead storyboard sessions/workshops and information gathering sessions (depending on seniority)
- Produce and update tender management schedules
- Develop and manage responses working closely with subject matter experts
- Identify and re-work existing content in line with specific questions and individual client requirements
- Apply client bid feedback to future responses driving continuous improvement
- Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders
- Provide critical reviews of all responses to ensure a quality output is maintained
- Deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed deadlines
- Develop innovative ways of sharing and presenting information and involve the team in the change process
