Business Director – Multi Sector – Bid, Business Development & Marketing at Bidrecruitment
I am currently working with a leading global law firm who are seeking a bid manager (pitches and pursuits) to join their team in Birmingham. This role would suit a bid professional who has 5+ years bid management experience within the legal or professional services sector. You will be joining a well-respected team of 4, working on international opportunities.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days from their office in Birmingham city centre. The salary is dependent on experience however they offer a competitive basic and benefits package.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the wider teams to develop responses to client proposals and pitches
- Leverage company pitch best practices to ensure pitch materials are consistently client focused, compliant and easy to evaluate
- Design and develop high quality pitches for clients across the public and private sector
- Research and review relevant market, industry, competitive and business information for the preparation of successful pitches
- Coach pitch teams on presentation techniques and handling Q&As
- Conduct post pitch evaluations, obtaining feedback
- Collaborate with finance, pricing, compliance and other areas of the business to ensure alignment and gathering of relevant information for pitch completion
- Assist in maintaining and updating the content library
- Design and deliver materials for forthcoming strategic pitch opportunities
- Help to identify inefficiencies in the pitch process and develop plans to address these
- Develop a strategy for further pursuits and look for new areas of growth
