I am currently recruiting for a Bid Coordinator to take on a newly created role with one of my clients in Chesterfield. Due to continued growth, the business is keen to find an ambitious bid coordinator who can support the bid manager. This is a full time, permanent role working 4 days in the office and 1 at home. The salary is £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. This role would suit a bid professional with 2+ years’ experience who wants to grow within an organisation. The ideal candidate will have worked in one of the following sectors - construction, manufacturing, energy, water or oil and gas, however my client is open to considering applicants from any sector. You will be bidding in the UK and internationally, so there is the option for some international travel should you wish to do so. This role can also offer further development in other areas of the business alongside bids.
About the role
- Pulling together high-quality tender submissions
- Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Analyse tender documents and summarise requirements for the bid team
- Prepare, format, and proofread proposal content, ensuring compliance with client specifications
- Liaise with subject matter experts, project managers, and suppliers to gather necessary input
- Maintain bid library content, case studies, and standard responses
- Support bid strategy meetings, clarifications, and submission planning
- Track and report on bid progress, win/loss outcomes, and lessons learned
- Support the team with post-tender clarifications, presentations, and post-bid feedback
- Support the marketing as required
