I am currently working with an award winning, ambitious company who provide language services to the public sector, predominantly the NHS. They are looking for a bid coordinator to join their growing team.

This role would suit someone early in their bid career or someone who has had some exposure to bids and would like to pursue a career in this area. You will have strong attention to detail, be able to manage a busy workload and multitask, good communication skills and be a competent user of Microsoft Office. This is a hybrid role in Birmingham, working 2-3 days in the office per week.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Actively monitor procurement portals, email enquiries and manage communications
  • Support business development with lead generation and identifying opportunities
  • Support the Bid Manager in the end-to-end bid process, from initial request to final submission
  • Co-ordinate the compilation, completion, and submission of PQQ/ITT responses
  • Participate in marketing events and bid presentations where required
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis and provide insight to the bid team
  • Research, author and format bid responses using input from the bid library in line with the bid guidelines
  • Conduct wider research for the business to map opportunities
  • Manage FOI requests and actively update information for the bid team
  • Work closely with Bid Manager to ensure delivery of high-quality submission documents
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of bid library repository and supporting materials
