Delivery Driver

Location: Bermondsey, Unit 14-15, Bermondsey Trading Estate, Rotherhithe Road, London, SE16 3LL

Salary: £27,580.8 (including £1 per hour attendance bonus)

Rate per hour: £12.26 + £1 per hour attendance bonus, paid if 100% attendance in the month

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5am until 1pm

Working days: 5 days over 7 working. You will be working 5 days a week but there might be some overtime needed on the 6th day depending on the business needs.

You will need a valid UK driving licence.

What you’ll be doing?

• Delivering quality fresh fish to chefs and professional kitchens across the region
• Handling products with care to make sure they arrive in excellent condition
• Monitoring temperatures and quality of goods
• Communicating with customers in a professional, courteous manner and resolving any issues confidently
• Keeping accurate records of deliveries and returns
• Loading and unloading goods, carrying out vehicle checks, and keeping the van clean and tidy

What we’re looking for

• A full UK driving licence
• Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience in fresh food is beneficial
• Great communication and people skills
• The ability to work independently while being part of a wider supportive team
• Basic IT skills, with confidence to use a company phone for communication and updates
• Previous experience in multi-drop or foodservice delivery would be great!
