About the Role

We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join the team at Kingfisher Brixham. We're proud to supply some of the UK's best chefs, restaurants, pubs, hotels and caterers with fresh fish and seafood sourced from Brixham and beyond. As part of a friendly, knowledgeable team, you'll play a key role in helping our customers succeed while building lasting relationships across the hospitality industry. This is a hands‑on role where you'll become the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of customers across the hospitality and catering industry. You'll build strong relationships, understand their businesses, and help them get the very best from our products and service. You'll be responsible for growing sales within your accounts, spotting opportunities, and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional service we're known for. What You'll Be Doing
- Account Management & Customer Relationships
- Build strong relationships with your customer accounts, becoming their trusted day‑to‑day contact
- Take customer orders and ensure they are processed accurately and efficiently
- Understand your customers' businesses, menus, and buying habits
- Provide excellent service, resolving queries and finding solutions when challenges arise
- Work closely with customers to help them make the most of our products and services
- Sales & Business Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase sales across your account portfolio to achieve monthly targets
- Introduce new products, seasonal lines, and promotional opportunities
- Monitor customer spending and proactively engage with accounts showing reduced activity
- Work towards sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Support new business generation through prospecting and outbound activity
- Collaborate with our Business Development Managers to maximise opportunities across accounts
- Product & Industry Knowledge
- Develop a strong understanding of our seafood range, sourcing, seasonality, and sustainability credentials
- Support customers with menu ideas, product recommendations, and menu costing
- Stay informed about market trends and customer needs
- Share product knowledge and insights that help customers succeed
About You
