Oliver Kay has been established for over 30 years, supplying fresh ingredients each day, directly to chefs and professional kitchens. We are increasing the QA team to help support the growing demands of the business.
About the Role
To ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of ambient, chilled and specialty products to feed the flow of business operations while providing Service Excellence to internal and external customers.
- To check fresh produce for size, weight and quality on incoming deliveries.
- To work as part of the QA team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- To be a key member of the onsite QA team, ensuring incoming products are quality checked prior to receipt and acceptance of goods.
- Be a proactive member of the team that ensures food safety compliance.
- Highlight any issues to the onsite QA management team.
About You
- Clear, precise and confident communication skills.
- Thorough with a good attention to detail.
- Time management and work prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently as necessary.
This role will require you to spend a large part of your day in a refrigerated environment.
Working Hours
This role is advertised as a 5 out of 7 shift pattern (mainly Mon-Fri), with daytime shift. However, candidates will need to have a level of flexibility due to the nature of our work.
