Play an important part in our journey
As Warehouse Team Manager, you’ll work as part of a team responsible for managing operations, the warehouse, and most importantly… the people! You’ll really ‘get’ the value in recognising good work in the team, and making sure they are motivated will be your priority! You’ll lead the team, putting safety at the forefront and working towards shared goals of delivering the best service!
Some of the key parts of the role:
  • Coaching the team to reach their full potential
  • Communicating openly and consistently, delivering key messages to the team at the right time
  • Managing recruitment, absence, performance, conduct, safety, and service
  • Allocating work considering individual/team capability and legal driving hours to achieve targets
  • Carrying out good quality investigations
And no matter what you’re doing, you’ll always be promoting and managing safety. You’ll make sure all goods are picked, numbered, and stocked safely and efficiently by managing the team. You’ll take charge of looking after company equipment, making sure it is maintained and organized to reach maximum productivity levels. Most of all, you’ll role model our values, especially through challenging times! Warehouses in Bidfood are fast-paced, and we’re looking for someone who truly cares about the team and the quality of service we deliver.
