About the role

As a Bidfood Trunker/Shunter, you’ll be working with our night’s team loading our vehicles to make sure that they’re ready for a smooth departure for their onward deliveries! This means you’ll be handling and delivering ambient, chilled and frozen food products around our yards and out on the roads to pick up collections from our other Bidfood depots.
This role is a night time role which is any 5 in 7 days. You’ll carry out temperature checks throughout the night and help to load and unload vehicles where needed, meeting the highest of safety standards. You’ll have a good mix of variety and familiarity in this role and ultimately whilst you’re working with our internal teams, you’ll have our customers at the heart of everything you do! It’s a physically demanding role - but it’s also a very rewarding one!
