Transport Planner – Drive Efficiency, Shape Routes, Make a Difference
Location: Bradford
Hours: 1700hrs to 0200hrs
Salary: £37,834.78
We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team. If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a fast-paced operation – we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimise daily delivery routes using specialist software
- Oversee the night truckers to ensure any operational issues are managed being proactive not reactive
- Respond quickly to operational challenges and changes
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams
- Ensure legal compliance and support driver performance
- Work collaboratively to achieve service and cost targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a transport planning or logistics environment
- Paragon routing software experience
- An HGV licence is advantageous – offering valuable real-world insight
- Strong UK geographical knowledge and a hands-on approach
- Must be flexible – shift patterns may vary depending on business needs
