About the role

Transport Planner – Drive Efficiency, Shape Routes, Make a Difference

Location: Bradford

Hours: 1700hrs to 0200hrs

Salary: £37,834.78

We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team. If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a fast-paced operation – we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimise daily delivery routes using specialist software
  • Oversee the night truckers to ensure any operational issues are managed being proactive not reactive
  • Respond quickly to operational challenges and changes
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams
  • Ensure legal compliance and support driver performance
  • Work collaboratively to achieve service and cost targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a transport planning or logistics environment
  • Paragon routing software experience
  • An HGV licence is advantageous – offering valuable real-world insight
  • Strong UK geographical knowledge and a hands-on approach
  • Must be flexible – shift patterns may vary depending on business needs
