We are now looking for high-performing, commercially focused sales professionals to join us as Business Development Managers. The Role
As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be winning profitable new business within your territory. You will:
- Identify, target and convert new free‑trade customers aligned to our growth strategy
- Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Stretch new business targets set annually
- Lead structured onboarding to ensure long‑term customer retention
- Work in close partnership with our Sales Centres to embed and grow new accounts
- Own and execute a territory growth plan using insight and data
This is a performance‑led, high‑impact role with clear accountability and strong earning potential.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking driven, resilient and commercial sales professionals who thrive on acquisition. You will demonstrate:
- A proven track record of delivering new business growth
- Strong prospecting discipline and pipeline management
- Confidence in closing and negotiating at decision‑maker level
- The ability to convert wins into sustainable, long‑term partnerships
- A data‑led approach to territory planning and opportunity targeting
- High levels of self‑motivation, accountability and resilience
Experience within foodservice, FMCG or B2B distribution is advantageous, but a strong new business mindset is essential.
