About the role

Transport Planner – Drive Efficiency, Shape Routes, Make a Difference

Location: Bradford

Hours: 1700hrs to 0200hrs

Salary: £37,834.78

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimise daily delivery routes using specialist software
  • Oversee the night truckers to ensure operational issues are managed proactively
  • Respond quickly to operational challenges and changes
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams
  • Ensure legal compliance and support driver performance
  • Work collaboratively to achieve service and cost targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a transport planning or logistics environment
  • Experience with Paragon routing software
  • An HGV license is advantageous, offering valuable insight
  • Strong UK geographical knowledge and a hands-on approach
  • Must be flexible, as shift patterns may vary
