About the role

As P.I Operative on day shift, you\’ll handle a wide range of ambient, chilled and frozen products.
Prime objective of the role:
To maintain the accuracy of stock held in the depot, by completing a 20-day PI cycle along with day-to-day management of products within the warehouse, including date sensitive goods.
Role activity:
  • As part of this role you will be required to count, BBD check and condition check stock held in pick and bulk locations, ensure WMS is updated and investigated any discrepancies accordingly.
  • Check IBT discrepancies and liaise with other departments and depots, responding to all enquiries both internal and external in a timely manner.
  • Action any Quarantine activity as requested.
  • Provide support and assistance as required to the Stock Team Manager.
An understanding of Stock Control would be preferable, with the ability to work and develop within the team and department.
Requirements:
Good communication skills are essential, as well as flexibility and attention to detail.
The person will ideally have a forklift license and have good PC skills, preferably Excel, although training will be provided.
The role also requires a certain amount of physical work, whilst time keeping and attendance are prerequisites of the role.
