About the role
The prime objective of the role is to maintain the accuracy of stock held in the depot, by completing a 20-day PI cycle along with day-to-day management of products within the warehouse, including date sensitive goods, and solving depot/customer queries.
Role activity
- Count, BBD and condition check stock held in pick and bulk locations.
- Ensure WMS is updated and investigate any discrepancies accordingly.
- Check any Hub & Spoke and IBT discrepancies, do credits and invoicing.
- Liaise with other departments and depots, responding to all enquiries both internal and external in a timely manner.
- Deal with damaged stock and customer returns.
- Action any Quarantine activity as requested.
- Provide support and assistance as required to the Stock Manager and Warehouse needs.
Candidate requirements
- An understanding of Stock Control would be preferable.
- Ability to work and develop within the team and department.
- Problem solving and good communication skills are essential.
- Flexibility and attention to detail.
- Forklift experience and good PC skills, preferably Excel/Microsoft Windows.
- The role requires a certain amount of physical work, whilst time keeping and attendance are prerequisites of the role.
