About the role
Are you great with people? Do you have a passion for delivering great service? Looking for a role that keeps you active? Experience in multi-temperature environments? If you have the energy to make sure our drivers leave with the right product in the right place at the right time, why not make our journey your journey?
Play an important part in our journey. Our day shifts have varying start times between 6.00am and 12.00pm and rotas are any 5 in 7 days. As a Warehouse Operative on day shifts, you’ll handle a wide range of ambient, chilled and frozen products. You’ll be:
- Picking and loading orders.
- Making sure products are arranged and stored correctly.
- Using our handling equipment (we’ll train you on how to use it safely!).
- Relocating products using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
You’ll be moving around a lot, so a good level of physical fitness will help you on your journey with us. It’s also important that you care about your team, our customers and our goods. Most of all, you’ll work hard to make sure our drivers leave the warehouse on time and with the right orders in their trucks, so our customers get the food they need.
