Overview
Fulltime, No Weekends! 7am-3pm Mon to Fri
We are looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Storeperson/ Pick Packer at our Gillman branch. This role will be fulltime, Monday to Friday with NO weekend work! Shifts are 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Pick and assemble goods accurately
- Load trucks efficiently and safely
- Receive, put away and rotate stock
- Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
- Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -25°C)
- Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
- Work overtime when required to meet demand
Skills and experience
- To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid work ethic, physical readiness and a willingness to work across different environments as part of a reliable team.
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Previous warehouse and/or meat experience (a big plus)
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Maintain product integrity
- Capable of working without supervision
- Pick and pack meat orders to spec
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Basic computer knowledge (advantageous)
