The National Purchasing Department is on the lookout for a proactive, forward-thinking individual to join our Brisbane-based Support Services team. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic national operation that keeps the wheels turning across all Bidfood divisions.
About the Role:
Reporting to the National Purchasing Manager, the key objective of this role is to provide efficient and accurate administrative support and assistance to the Purchasing Department and all Bidfood Divisions as required. The individual will enjoy working with others as well as the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Update & maintain Bidfood Branch Pricing
- Set up and maintain new Inventory codes for Branch use
- Maintain Supplier documentation ensuring all relevant certificates are current and compliant
- Liaise with Branches and Suppliers in relation to products and pricing
- Prepare reports, letters and spreadsheets by using a range of computer packages
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong time management skills (ability to work to deadlines)
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Well organised and the ability to multi task and prioritise workload
- Computer literacy in Excel and including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Able to work as part of a team
If you have experience working in the Foodservice or FMCG industry this would be viewed favourably.
