An opportunity exists for morning and afternoon shift High Reach Forklift Operators/ Pick Packers at our foodservice branch located in Bibra Lake.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager this position requires the applicant to efficiently and safely transport stock to various locations within the warehouse as required, put away received stock, pick and assemble goods, load trucks and maintain general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties:
- Be competent with driving a forklift in a safe and professional manner.
- Unload and load trucks.
- Check off stock.
- Pick and stack orders safely (in dry, chiller and freezer sections of the warehouse).
- Work safely around other team members.
- Follow all company processes, procedures, policies and instructions.
- Lift, stack and unstack goods.
- Maintain product integrity.
Skills and Experience:
- A current forklift licence (required).
- Experience with high reach crown forklifts (required).
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
