We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Deputy Manager in a Residential unit for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism (ASD), challenging behaviour and other Mental Health issues at our Units in Gravesend and Rochester, Kent.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our residential units.
- Deliver person-centred care, supporting daily activities and responding confidently to challenging situations.
- Ensure care is safe and consistent.
- Cover the Registered Manager when needed, helping to maintain standards required by legislation, local authorities, and the CQC.
About You
- Caring, proactive, and organised, with strong time management and confident leadership skills.
- Experience in a senior role within residential care (ideally 3+ years as a Team Leader/Senior Support Worker).
- Understanding of compliance, audits, and accurate documentation.
- Ability to administer medication and solid understanding of CQC regulations and legislative requirements.
- Hold a Level 3 (or degree) in Health & Social Care, working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
- Flexibility is essential, as the role includes sleep-ins and weekend shifts, and covering absences when required.
