As a sales administrator, you will act as the central administrative point for the depot sales team, supporting everything from diary management and meeting coordination to documentation, reporting, pricing queries, and event organisation. You’ll play a vital part in helping our Head of Sales stay focused, informed, and productive. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can balance multiple priorities, and can communicate confidently with internal and external contacts at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Sales.
- Act as first point of contact, managing calls, emails and enquiries professionally.
- Coordinate diary management, including team holidays, internal meetings and supplier slots.
- Take accurate minutes and track actions, ensuring timely follow up.
- Organise meetings, conferences, exhibitions and associated logistics.
- Prepare high quality correspondence, documents, PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports.
- Support field sales admin: new account mobilisation, sample processing, pricing queries and logging.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures, including mileage, gifts & hospitality, samples and rebates.
- Manage reporting deadlines (weekly, monthly, period-end, and ad hoc).
- Ensure accurate maintenance of key records including holidays, sickness, rebates and samples.
- Store contractual paperwork and submit rebate or deal requests correctly.
