PI Operative
About the role
As P.
I Operative you will continuously help improve stock control procedures.
As a team player, you will help to achieve KPI’s including the day-to-day management of products within the warehouse including date sensitive goods and the condition checks of stock held in pick and bulk locations and investigate any discrepancies accordingly.
The successful candidate needs to be a methodical thinker who approaches any problems with a logical attitude.
You will have the drive and ability to perform well under pressure and be proactive in helping the team achieve its goals as well as improve customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities are
- Manage stock locations and update the system as and when required.
- Perform daily count checks within a 20-day cycle which will include Ambient, Chilled & Frozen chambers and investigate and correct any discrepancies.
- Address all stock queries efficiently and in a timely manner, to assist in achieving the customer service levels.
- Manage control measures to ensure, inaccuracies and discrepancies are recorded and signed off.
- Liaise with other departments and depots, responding to all enquiries both internal and external, deal with damaged stock and customer returns.
- Action any Quarantine activity as requested.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with and fully maintained.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Provide support and assistance as required to the Stock Manager.
Candidate requirements
Problem solving and good communication skills are essential, as well as flexibility and attention to detail as this role is very much about accuracy and quality.
A knowledge of computer software packages including Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
Forklift experience would be preferred but is not essential.
The role also requires a certain amount of physical work.
