Our client is looking for a Bid Project Manager to join its Construction South team, focused on winning first-stage tenders for projects across South London and the Southeast. You'll own the bid from strategy to submission, shaping the narrative, coordinating the team and making sure every proposal is something to be proud of. Based flexibly between home and their Weybridge office, this is a senior, visible role with real autonomy and board-level exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the bid strategy end-to-end, from kick-off through to submission
- Motivating and coordinating subject matter experts to deliver their best input
- Shaping the visual presentation and written narrative of every proposal
- Working with the Proposals Manager to craft clear, compelling bid responses
- Leading governance meetings and maintaining board-level engagement in the win strategy
- Managing a line report and developing talent within the bid team
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong project management skills — you can juggle deadlines and multiple contributors without dropping the ball
- Strategic thinking — you understand what clients want and can translate that into a winning offer
- Excellent writing skills — clear, concise and persuasive
- Sharp attention to detail — error-free submissions, every time
- English literature, journalism degree or equivalent is desirable; APM also welcomed
