We're recruiting a Strategic Bid Manager to join a tight-knit, creative and strategic team working exclusively on high-value education projects through the Department for Education Construction Framework across England. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team that genuinely pushes boundaries on innovation, sustainability and what great bidding looks like.
The Strategic Bid Manager Role:
- You'll lead the full customer journey from Expression of Interest through to Invitation to Tender and into the early CEM stages, before handing over to the local construction team.
- Working in close collaboration with regional teams, you'll be responsible for achieving a minimum 50%-win rate on High Value Band DfE Framework projects, a target that reflects both the ambition of the team and the quality of the client relationship.
- This isn't a back-office bid role. You'll be front and centre with the customer, shaping preconstruction strategy and bringing fresh thinking to every submission.
What The Strategic Bid Manager Will Need:
- Significant experience in a bid management role within construction
- Experience of DfE bidding and/or preconstruction project management
Bonus Points For:
- APM qualifications or ChPP
- Familiarity with resource and schedule management platforms
- Adobe InDesign
