Bid Solutions is currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to join a boutique consultancy in London. The successful candidate will have experience of bid writing on major projects for Tier 1 contactors in the transport/engineering/infrastructure space.
The job entails lots of writing and lots of research. You will have to love reading technical documents and making sense of them. Working closely with business leaders, you must be adept at forging strong and lasting relationships with people. Strong communication skills will be paramount to your success.
On a day-to-basis, you will help clients:
- extract information by asking the right questions
- turn technical ideas into compelling prose
- hit deadlines within a highly pressurised team environment
Within the consultancy, you will help:
- identify and pursue new opportunities
- develop and hone company processes
- mould and shape the future of the business.
In return, the consultancy offers a flexible approach to working hours, no micromanagement, and a serious dedication to being helpful and kind. The role will be part remote and part in-office (at their HQ in the heart of the City of London). A typical week will entail around 40 hours full-time. When a big client deadline looms, this can ramp up, but you\’ll always be supported.
